Approximately 500 school pupils will have access to three floors of interactive exhibits, hands on workshops including a Cryptography and DIY Gamer workshop. There will be opportunities to ‘meet the expert’ which will include stalls to speak to someone in the cyber field with a mixture of career paths, advice and opportunities. There will also be the opportunity to watch ‘The Big Data Show’, an interactive cyber-themed production about ethical hacking and online presence.
This event will help raise awareness of some of the different cyber security career paths and opportunities that young people can get involved with. It will be an opportunity for them to get a ‘hands on’ and spark some interest in this subject. They will be able to get expert advice. Pupils attending The Data Show will get an awareness of their online presence and how this could be a security risk. This event is an educational experience giving pupils an introduction into cyber security.
