We will again use the Sli.do platform for live engagement, enabling the audience to submit questions using their own devices. There will be interactive zones and many opportunities for attendees to voice their thoughts, including feedback walls and stations.
To set the tone for the event, there will be a Welcome Drinks reception held on 23 April, the eve of CYBERUK 2019, for the practitioners’ community to meet and network in a relaxed environment.
Leaders’ networking dinner
There will be a formal networking dinner for the leadership community held on 23 April, bringing together individuals responsible for setting the cyber security strategy across government and industry.
Relaxed networking is a trademark of CYBERUK events and the informal networking evening held on 24 April will be a highlight. This will feature thought-provoking talks, live music and refreshments. This will be an opportunity for individuals across the cyber security community to relax, meet and establish new contacts.
There will be a wealth of national cyber security specialists and international guests providing a relevant, tailored exhibition. This will be designed and located to ensure it maximises networking opportunities throughout the event and during the networking evening.
An event highlight will be the Spotlight Stage, featuring thought-provoking lightning talks. These will be held during breaks, lunch and during the Networking Evening. They will provide a concise briefing on key topics, latest innovations and pioneering ideas.
The Cyber Games
NCSC technical experts and industry partners will again create a series of entertaining technical challenges for participants at CYBERUK 2019. The challenges will be tailored to every skill level.
The seventh stream includes the Cyber Den, which is presented in partnership with the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS). Here cyber security entrepreneurs have the chance to pitch their products to a panel of NCSC Technical Directors and industry leaders. This will identify and recognise the best new solutions.
The NCSC is committed to ensuring CYBERUK events are inclusive to all so that all delegates can enjoy the same experience. We will ensure all participants have access to all elements of the agenda and that they are able to enjoy all presentations and content.
