Glasgow Caledonian University will launch The Cyber Security Clinic; a student led initiative, which aims to provide guidance on aspects of security which can impact every member of society. This could be anything from social media privacy settings to spam emails, from passwords to home IoT device settings. Students will man the pop up stand and will promote the raising of awareness of good cyber hygiene for all at home, in leisure and at work, and be available to answer cyber related questions.
The launch is during Scotland Cyber week, but this will be a service offered throughout the year, via an online presence and regular pop up stands throughout the city.
