Learn To Be More Cyber Resilient, Wednesday 19th – Friday 21st, Various

Want to learn more about staying safe online? Event for disabled people, carers and people who work with them.

Funded by the Scottish Government, as part of the their Cyber Resilience Strategy, Cyber Scotland Week events bring people together to learn and feel more confident to:

  • Be able to create a strong password

  • Be able to identify internet scams

  • Recognise fake emails and websites

  • Be able to identify sources of support in the event of a cyber attack

If you are disabled, are a carer or if your work includes supporting disabled people or carers to be safe online please come along! We will supply devices, or you can bring your own, there will be time to ask questions and you will get a hands on opportunity to have a go.

We will provide lunch so that there is a bit of time to have a chat with other people, which might reassure you if you are worried about putting your skills into practice.

Do you have any accessibility requirements? Please contact enquiries@lead.org.uk or call us at 0131 228 9441.
