42% of small and medium sized UK businesses have suffered a cyber-attack in the last 12 months. When all else fails, how do you mitigate the impact of a cyber security incident to ensure your entire business is not in jeopardy?
As part of Cyber Week 2019, we invite you to a breakfast seminar where our panel of experts from industry, insurance and legal will be on hand to provide you with their top tips on cyber security.
As well as hearing from David Goodbrand, Partner and Head of Privacy at Burness Paull we will be joined by three other data security experts each with their own experiences to share.
Federico Charosky, MD of Quorum Cyber, specialists in cyber security solutions and operations, will look at ‘Threat modelling to inform cyber security budget decisions’. One of the main challenges for Security Executives over the years has been to justify a “return of investment”. Federico will explore how we use MITRE ATT&CK frameworks and Threat Modelling, the art of identifying who is targeting your business, to create tailored cyber security investment strategies that clearly articulate the benefit of investment.
Scott McLuskey, Account Director of CCRS Brokers and Mark Armstrong, Cyber Underwriting Manager of CNA Hardy will discuss ‘Cyber Insurance – The Last Line Of Defence’. They will highlight the costs your business could face as result of a wide range of cyber incidents; from ransomware & impersonation fraud to telephone hacking and loss of third party data. In jargon-free terms the insurance solutions available to mitigate against these costs will be discussed with some real life cyber insurance claim examples to help you understand the options available to ensure your business can continue to trade following a cyber incident.
We do hope you can join us.
